I'm a little concerned about how well the rubber tail attachment will hold up over time. It seems prone to dry rot or breakage. What's your take on how reliable the tip and tail attachments will be over time? Also, I've read some reviews on other sites that raise concerns about the glue quality on these skins. Any subjective sense of how well these skins will stick and stay stuck?

I've used Pomoca and Montana skins with rubber tip attachments for years without dry rot, etc. That said, the rubber tip attachment on my Speedskin broke while skinning yesterday. The failure occured at the metal rod hole. The air temp was warm; there was no rock or other damage to the rubber, and this is their 1st season. A ski strap could be rigged to hold the skin, but one might want to carry a spare part.
