Yes the mounting base, or hole pattern is the same for the 01's and the 02's. I recently took a pair of 02's off a pair of skis and replaced them with the o1's. Very simple.

Not sure what you mean by "Mounting Base"... The holes for the screws in the 01 and 02 are in the same pattern. The binding itself mounts directly to the ski.-------------Did you not see the question directly below that answers your question? Unless you mean the footprint of the binding on the ski, in which case the O1s go further forward to accomodate the touring part.
