Is the outer material 'slick', or will it pick up all lint & hair?? What coats do have a slick exterior??

I just received this jacket in the mail yesterday.. seems like it will pick up lint rather quickly. I have a Furallure Tweed coat from last season which by comparison is a little "slicker" and I haven't had any problems with that one, even with sweaters that shed. The internal lining of the Atlantic is slick, though.
