Hi. I had my first day out on these boots recently. I took a nasty fall and sprained my ankle. I am wondering if these boots may have contributed to the sprain or perhaps it was just bad luck. I have never had an ankle injury in my previous 15 years of tele and am an advanced tele skier. My previous boots were also scarpa t2- dark blue ones and while a little more roomy than these new ones I have never experienced any ankle issues. Thoughts?

Bad falls can cause injuries, no doubt. Different boots and different fits can put your foot in a different position and change how the forces are going to affect your anatomy. I don't think it's very predictable though. I agree, bad luck. Hope you get better soon!

Bad luck. I've never heard of problems with these boots specifically. I know tons of people that ski on T2s, men and women, without a hitch.
