I am wondering whether to get one of these for my 15 year old son, who does a lot of hiking, and is about 5'8". I have never had one of these jackets before, so can anyone recommend it and give me a bit more information? Also, the 2nd Cardinal red/asphalt grey picture (top row, 2nd left) looks different to the one on it's left. Why is this?

outofdoors, I would say yes, get it. I have this jacket and its great! My brother also has one, he's 16 and into camping and outdoor stuff so yeah, definitely buy this. I don't know about why the red colors are different, but I have the blue one and my brother has a green colored one, but it all depends on what your son wants.....
