is this bag good enough for Aconcangua---------------------------------This is a 5 degree bag. Not sure of the nightly temps on Aconcagua whenever it is that you are going but it gets pretty cold at high altitude. What is the highest elevation that you will bivy? Highest I have read is around 19,400'. Summit is 22,841'. 5 degrees could work if you have a warm tent and wear all your clothes. I would consider a -20 bag.
