I am tossing up between this piece and the MH Edge Jacket 'cos they have similiar materials and features. Has anyone had experience with the Edge? I am a bit suspect on the hood of the La Grave, based on some reviews here - can anyone add to that (good or bad)? Thanks!

The La Grave is not helmet friendly (the small size, at least, with a Giro helmet). Quite unfortunate, really. Otherwise it's a great shell.

I can't speak of the Edge, but I haven't had any issues with the hood. My helmet has a visor so I'm okay without the hood skiing, but it has been a blessing while skinning up in harsh conditions.
