Technically, it's actually meant for the park and pipe, not powder. But I'm guessing that you're probably not a pro, so it would do just fine in the powder for you. But if you're looking for something that is designed for powder, look for a board that is all-mountain, or freeride. This is a freestyle board.This board shreds the gnar! I've had it for 2 years and I love it all over the mountain. Basically, any snowboard will shred the pow no problem as long as it is your size.
