This is the shorter version, the jacket, and it goes to just below the waist. The Sub-zero SL parka is hip length or just slightly longer. Hope that helps.

Center back length on size medium is 27". As you go up or down in size, you will add/subtract an inch for each measurement. The length of this coat will most likely cover the hips.
