Other than the 5 oz, is this bag worth the price over the Lost...

Other than the 5 oz, is this bag worth the price over the Lost Ranger, does it compress considerably more--important for me because I pack a lot of my kids stuff too.

I've got both and don't regret the upgrade. My LR is only a regular and I felt like I needed a long (I'm 6'1"). Had that not been the case...I probably would have stuck with the LR.

Old question but I have both bags (bought the Lost Ranger for my wife) and most of the time I use the Lost Ranger simply because of the extra room.

This is opinion but if I was to buy over again I would probebly buy the lost ranger. I have the mystic and my buddy has the lost ranger. It is nice to save the extra weight and have a little bit smaller bag but the added worry is almost not worth it, (thiner and more expensive). having said all that, i still love this bag.
