I don't own either of the tents, but after looking into both of them my self the main thing I have noticed is that the Vahalla has an extra wall that can zip up over the mesh doors whereas the Xanadu on has mesh doors. From the reviews I have read, the Xanadu has problems with Spindrift because of the mesh only doors. Hope this helps.
