I'm looking to upgrade my pack, I currently run an ems 3000 lt. It's been a great pack but with extended winter trips in adirondacks, I'd like to add about 25% more capacity. Suggestions?

First suggestion, look at packs and ask your question there. Backcountry makes it really easy to shop by pack size, so do a little research on your own.
