I just talked to Marmot cust service and they confirmed that the groundsheet is included. Mike there said this allows the tent as purchased to be pitched "bare-bones," i.e. fly and groundsheet only.

If they do, it must be a new thing, because usually they sell separately and I didn't get one. Maybe they just don't like me.

Yes, according to Marmot's site the footprint should be included with this tent.
