I'm looking at a fairing for my rack on my Scion xB, do you leave it on when you go through a car wash? Lotsa salt around these parts.

Hey Becky, I am pretty sure you can leave this thing on going through a car wash. You might have to pick out a couple of the strings from the wash rollers though. If this can stay on running at 60 mph. A car wash is a light shower for this.-Becky: I used to live in VT and PA and ran my subaru w/ rack and fairing through auto carwashes without a problem. i know the signs say not to, but i've never had an issue.
