Are the M11+ fully rigid boots? I know that Kayland rates the M11+ a rigidity level 9 (out of 9), but my Kayland Multitraction boots are rated a rigidity level 8 (out of 9) and they are more of a semi-rigid boot. My concern is that the M11+ won't be as rigid as necessary for vertical water ice and mixed climbing. Am I mistaken?

I have both kayland 8 and 9 rigidity boots, and the difference is huge. The eights flex like a heavyduty hikingboot, but the 9 i can barely budge. They are not completely plank, but close (you can flex it somewhat if you really try, but I would say fully rigid.)
