My girlfriend just bought these....she wears an 8 and purchased size 25.0. I wear size 9 women's and was wondering if I should get a size 25.5 or 26.0? What do you typically recommend? The sizing chart recommends 25.5. Should they be a little tight?

Like your girl friend I wear a size 8 in shoes, but I went for the 23.5 in these boots. They were tight when new, but now that they are packed out a bit they feel just right. Still snug enough to feel secure, but comfortable. They should be pretty tight, especially when you first get them. Otherwise as they pack out they will end up being too big and your foot will be all over the place. Best to get professionally fitted, but if not then perhaps purchase two sizes and return one. It will be worth the extra expense to have boots that fit just right.

I have these boots in a 21, and should have probably had the 22's , just so you know they are a very narrow fit.
