Does anyone know if this rack will suffice-is strong enough to carry minimal loads of small lumber products such as 1x4/s, or 2x4's. Also, am I correct in assuming that this could also function as a bike rack without any additional customization. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This specialty rack has a load limit of 130 pounds. Not a lot of lumber, also NOT a rack for that purpose.

It's plenty strong enough to carry all the lumber you want (within reason), but it's not a bike rack. You could strap a bike straight onto these bars, but if you want it to stand upright and have a clamp on the wheels like bike racks do, then you need to buy a bike rack. This is just a set of bars and feet to mount them on.
