How does the eVent waterproof barrier compare to those of Gore-Tex that you have used? Does it make your feet hot like Gore-Tex

It is less hot than regular Gore-tex, and slightly more warm than Gore-Tex XCR (for warmer weather). I can wear these comfortably with thin smartwool socks until the temps are into the high 70's.
