Why isn't the shoulder strap included with this pack? And where would I need to go to look for the strap that goes w/ this pack...

The single shoulder strap is not included because the pack comes with backpack straps and really doesn't need it so in order to keep the price down they don't include it.

What are you talking about? It has shoulder straps. Check out the 4th detail shot. They're just removable so they don't get stuck in airport conveyor belts and the like.
