can anyone confirm which steel the blade is made from. Many sites say AUS 6M yet others say 420J2

Write your answer here... guy from crkt told me 420j2. I've 2 crtk manf. brochures, one says AUS 6 the other 420j2 - who knows??

I am pretty sure that it's made from AUS 6M. My friend has it.
