Hello,Looking for some info on how these skis might perform in the backcountry. How does the rockered design work with skinning? I've heard that a rockered ski does not skin well because there isn't enough base-area pressing the skins into the snow to make the skins grip. Also- what is the weight of these skis? Are they a stiff, mid, or soft ski?Thanks!

This is a medium/soft flex ski.Your thoughts on the skiing are along the right lines but you shouldn't really have too much of a problem except on the really steep skin tracks or hard snow.
