I'm a Wisconsin resident who has to deal with changing temps from below freezing to mid- and upper-30s in the winter months. How would these hold up?

It totally depends on what your activity is. These are softshells for your hands and while they're awesome at what they do, they have their limitations. Just like how there are times when a puffy down jacket is more appropriate than a softshell. If you're sitting at Lambeau Field drinking a cold beer and eating a block of cheddar, you might want to upgrade. But, if you're doing anything where the blood is flowing, these will be what you want.
