What glove would be warmer the Hestra Heli 3-finger or Black Diamond Guide Glove. What size in the Hestra 3-finger would be the same as a Large in the Black Diamond Guide Glove

I've got and used both. Similar warmth on frigid Steamboat days. BD guide glove is a bit bulkier (harder to slip into ski poles), but it's waterproof. I'd say if you have dry pow and aren't digging in the snow, get the Hestra. If you're snow is wetter or you're in the snow a lot...BD. I wear a medium in the BD glove and a size 9 in the Hestra 3-finger (but a size 10 in the Army leather spring...go figure.)
