It would be very helpful is there were a better way to compare this product between the smaller cocoon. I notice this larger one has four tree straps, while the other has the conventional two. This would be a good thing to note, and it would be helpful to have a description of why this is the case, and if it increases the internal size / level of cramped-ness.ThanksWill M.

The size of the HB Mos Free hammock is a definite plus. While it may seem there is an excess of material, it actually makes it easier to use, easier to get comfortable and move around and a little softer ont he edges if you want to hang your arms out. What appear to be two straps on each end is simply the two ends of a single rope passing through the ends of the hammock. Unless you tie a couple of knots and add a spreader bar, the ends of the hammock will bunch together just like any other hammock. Because of the size of the hammock (width and length) it is much more comfortable and less cramped than smaller hammocks, and the material is smooth and soft.
