My husband is going to Anchorage alaska for 3 months Friday. I am wondering if this is the best coat for a 72 year old, cold natured doctor for getting back and forth there to the hospital and for pleasure? sizing is another question. He goes between a medium to large-wearing size 40 blazer. What do you think?

It will keep him warm for sure. It is also very professional looking and will let people know he means business.Size medium will do him fine.
