When buying skis, do you factor pack weight in when determining the recommended length, or just use your (without gear) weight? I always wear a 25 pound pack.Thank you!Tom

Kelleher- Hope all is well. When I bought these skiis I did consider the pack weight. If you plan on using a pack a lot when you are skiing I would factor that into the skiis. I'd rather go on the heavier side rather than the lighter side. When you are not wearing the pack it's going to give you more lift in the snow anyway so it's going to help you either way. When I went to the BWCA I was very happy I factored the weight in. We were pulling sleds which helped but I still had 25-35lbs on my back. I hope that helps and if you have any other questions please let me know. Peace
