I'm 5'9" and weigh 155 lbs ... what size would you recommend for me in these tights, small or medium.

If I were you it would depend on what time of year I was using them in. If you're planning on using them all year I'd probably go with a medium. If they're mainly for moderate to warm weather I'd run with a small.
