I have long hair (for a guy) and it doesn't pose a problem for me -- I haven't noticed it before.

I have pretty short hair, and my Dome Perignon produces a noticeable amount of static. It doesn't bother me because I can't really mess my hair up, but I am sure it would be frustrating with longer hair.
