Is this good enough for international travel where there's unsafe water?

As long as the "Viustat" properties remain intact, this purifier is good for international usage. Still consider your water source. For example, I wouldn't use this or any other water purifier for purifying water taken from the Euphrates River! By: Jeff Gerhard

Yes, it is. However, you will find it a lot easier to buy bottled water wherever you go. Thesedays, I leave my water purifier at home when traveling abroad.
