A Question about Katadyn Exstream Purifier Bottle

Is this appropriate for international travel where there is unsafe water?

Just as Angus says, it is good for anything. I've used this bottle in Mexico, Germany, and England without fail. Its now my primary water bottle on all my hikes. My philosophy abroad is "if it aint bottled or made in the U.S.A., filter it!!!".
