i'm 5"6' 135lb, and i currently ride a salomon forecast 153mm, do you think the 149mm will work well for me as a dedicated powder board?

I think it depends on how a 153 rides for you. If it is way to short in powder and you can't keep the nose up at all I would buy the 158 and set up with a wide or forward stance to be able to control the long nose on the Malolo. If the 153 does pretty ok in the powder and you just want something that rips powder with less back leg burn then the 149 should work for ya.
