I'm wondering if the bottom cinches down and how well it'll be able to keep powder out in a wreck since it doesn't have a skirt?thanksdan

The bottom does have a cinch. If you are wearing bibs a pow wipe out should be no problem. If you have pants and take a header in the pow your going to get snow down you pants. This is a super aerobic jacket if you need something exclusively for the resort I would look elsewhere.
