HI,I am looking to buy these skis primarily for backcountry use and will put Fritschi Freerides on them. My question is about length: I am 5'11 and 150 lbs. probably 160-65 with a ski pack and gear on. what length would be appropriate for me? Also- Are these skis a reasonable weight for a ski that will be lugged up some big vertical in a day?

go 179, they run a little long so they will be about 183, they are about average in weight for a ski in this width. they have a great flex.
