It would be great if there was a fabric detail pic for the lining. How does everyone feel about the lining? Is it comfortable? How is the fit of the jacket? I have read a lot of recent reviews on backcountry.com brand stuff that say the front is short.

Agree with angus. Not short in the front and actually drops down in the back a bit. felt stiff the first couple of weeks but has now completely become a piece that moves with me :) It's really good. Another thing it actually ages with grace, the piling, which will happen given the wool, looks good on it.

I just got this and really like the lining. It's similar to the outside of the Patagonia R1, so you can check the fabric detail shots on that one. It's quite comfortable and fits fine for me. I'm 5'9", 145 pounds, long arms, and the M fits great. I'm a climber, so I don't like jackets going very far below my belt line, but it definitely doesn't seem too short. It's a little stiff at first but it softens up in a few days.
