Any LED headlamp would work fine for reading in your car @ night. That's why I'd also opt for the less expensive one. It would work, but I would pick the Princeton Tec Fuel. It is cheaper, brighter, now made in the USA, and has a 5 year warrenty instead of a 3 year warrenty.
