The O1's are way more active, ie quicker to engage. The cartridges on these are underfoot, so the boot stays on the ski, and there is less tendency to "tippy toe". They definitely are more akin to a bigger boot. I also think the tour engage is sweeter with the O1, though I have heard it can ice up in tour mode, but always does go in. The Targa is neutral, so if you are more in the way of a traditional turner, this might work for you. I just bought a pair of O1's after a demo day, and I think they are a better binding.
