I also have a 17" laptop and wonder whether the bag will hold that size?? Also, does it have compartments for papers, documents and the like??Thanks.

I am not convinced that the bag was built for a 17" laptop. My ACER is a 17", and it is a STRUGGLE to pry it in to the laptop sleeve... The bag is great aside from the fact that it doesnt fit my laptop. : ^( On the other hand, Backcountry rules on the returns issue. No issues on the several returns that I had to issue, and they even paid shipping. Side plastic swivel axis seem to be under-engineered as well.
