How warm do these pants keep you, do you need to wear any extra layers underneath? And Im about 5'9'' what size should I get?

I would wear a layer or so, but I tend to run cold all the time. As far as size I'd shoot for a medium but it really depends on your waist size. Use the provided sizing chart as these run true to size.
