My daughter has one of The Northface fleece jackets, its okay when it is cold, above 40. She needs something she can move around in but stay warm when the wind is whipping. We live in Oklahoma, and while it isn't consistantly cold, there are times when the windchill dips and we have a cold front move in. How would the apex bionic work for this type of weather. And like I said it needs to be warmer than the reversable fleece zip up

i have The Northface Apex bionic softshell jacket, and i dont wear it when it gets below freezing. Thats when i switch to 700 fill down.
