I'm 6' 6" and trying to find a day pack that will fit well. I've eliminated a few NF's (Plasma, Solaris, Terra) because they are one-size-fits all.Question: Between this pack and the Stratos 32, which one will fit better? The Kestrel only comes in two sizes, so I'm wondering if the M/L size won't be as long as the L version of the Stratos?

You'll have to decide that by using the torso length measurement system. To find your torso length, measure your back along the spine from the the top point of your hipbones to the knobby bone at the base of your neck. This will give you a measurement in inches that will determine the correct pack size.

Oliver - I have a very long torso also, and had the same questions. For me it was between the Talon (which uses the same adjustment and M/L size as the Kestrel) and the Stratos. The Stratos definitely allowed the hip belt to be on my hips and carry the weight better. Keep in mind that the Stratos has a frame (see other reviews) so that could be a problem, depending upon how you may use the bag. For me, the fit, and excellent warm weather breathability won the day.
