I am trying to decide between the Sidewinder AR and SV.. i am a Backcountry snowboarder and ice climb, along with some mountaineering in the future, i know the lengths are a little different. what would be the best ?

The big difference is the hood. The lenght is pretty close. I have the SV and use it for backcountry snowboarding as well as resort. This jacket is probably a little long if you're planning on wearing a harness. Just food for thought.
