Do not freeze!! I accidentally left mine in the freezer for a little too long and the bottle exploded!! Don't freeze. Great bottle, but leave out of the freezer.

Coming from both the company's FAQ and personal experience, you should not freeze any amount of water in this bottle. Bad things happen.SIGG recommends storing your bottle in the fridge if you want to chill it.
