My inseam is about 26". I am prepared to shorten the pants, so I would prefer if there were no zipper at all. Is the fit of these pants true to the measurements given for Columbia pants?Thanks!

Yes, Columbia pants, especially inseam are very accurate. There are zippers on the bottom of this pant so beware of altering!
