I ordered this coat with the understanding it was 650 fill DOWN, but when it arrives, the tag sewn into the coat says 90% down, 10% feathers - exactly what I was trying to avoid. So what gives? I've got a Patagonia that's 700 fill and a North Face that's 600, and they're both 100% down, which is more durable and warmer than feathers. Does 650 fill imply feathers, or is this a truth in advertising issue?

Build a bridge... or return it if the 10% is going to bother you. There are greater injustices in the world. -----------Well put, sir. This isn't a high performance jacket, get over it.---------------------------------Easy guys. Actually, this is a truth in marketing issue. There are always going to be some feathers in any down. Also in the market place there is no law telling anyone what they have to print. When ever Mountain Hardwear puts down into a jacket and give it a rating... it is meant as a minimum rating. This means that this Downtown Coat is 650 Fill... MINIMUM! Just as an 800 Fill rating would be a minimum rating. Most down in the jacket would probably rate higher. Also, consider this, if you took 650 fill down out of a jacket and took 800 fill out of a jacket and held it in your hand, including the feathers,... good luck telling the difference between the two. Hope this info helps!
