venture is made out of north faces most breathable "HyVent" fabric called HyVent DT

The main difference is the resolve has a hanging mesh lining inside, while the Venture is 2.5 layer construction so it does not. The Venture is lighter and more packable, while the Resolve is a little heavier and one could say a little more heavy duty.
