They will definitely handle that. I've gone with 70lbs myself. The only thing I recommend is get some custom inserts that are stiff. They recommend this boot for hiking but these are my go to boot for backpacking and trekking. They are still the best boot I've purchased.

I am sure they will provide nice support for that weight, but I would probably change out the foot beds for a load that heavy. I did not find the factory foot beds very comfortable.It's not a heavy backpacking boot but it will handle what you're requiring of it.
