Looking for a good waterproof jacket for a decent price. Have looked at TNF Venture jacket, Marmot Precip and Patagonia Rain Shadow. Looking for something a bit heavier than Venture & Precip, perhaps similar in weight/warmth to TNF Mountain Light. Does the Red Banks fit my parameters? If not, any suggestions?

The Red Banks would fit your parameters pretty well. Its heavier than the jackets you listed, coming in at 1lb 6oz. it has the necessary hood, waterproof MemBrain 2L and lots of other good features that will make this a good jacket especially for the price.
