My son saw this jacket on line and loved it. Don't know where to buy around here in North Jersey. He hates confinement and heavy, bulky jackets and needs something warm when he's walking around campus here in NJ and for going out with his friends. Two questions-is it lightweight, and is it warm enough for NJ winter. (I understand when it gets REALLY cold, like 10degress, windchill -30, not too much can keep anyone warm outside.)Please give your opinion. Thanks!

As a New Jersian(?) myself, I think you might be able to find it at Princeton Ski Shop on Route 3 in Clifton. I bought this jacket since it is pretty windy on my Campus in Queens, NY. The jacket is light-weight and should prevent the wind chill. It hasn't gotten too much colder than in the 30's so far, but if he puts on more than just a t-shirt underneath he should be pretty warm. When it gets to coldest of weather, he might need an outer shell, which can be zipped ontop of this and combined to become a heavier jacket. I haven't tested this jacket in the most extreme temperature yet.I've got the blue/grey one last week and I think it looks great. It is a slim cut for a medium/athletic build. The body's cut is a bit short, so if he wears a button-down shirt, the tail will hang out a bit.
