A Question about Arc'teryx Emissary Hoody - Women's

I'm looking for something small and light in weight to do small mountain hiking. I'm going to South Africa and will hike the Drakensberg Mts. I hate getting too hot as I climb and don't like having my movement restrained by balky jackets. Any ideas??

the emissary hoody would be great or this one:

it keeps you cool and warm. It is very breathable and lets air flow in and out, but when you need to be warm it does the job.
