what is this made from? lexan is too nonspecific. does it contain bisphenol A? many of the nalgene products can.

bPa is used in making polycarbonate plastic, so yes. Lexan is quite specific--it's a trade name for the polycarbonate used in water bottles, etc. If you prefer mold and bacteria to bPa, get one of the cloudy white HDPE bottles.
